Happy Holidays!

Each year one of my favorite projects is to create a holiday artwork to share cheer and joy. I love experimenting with little characters and this year I decided to design a little group of penguins playing outside their igloo. Happy Holidays!

Bavarian Folk Dancer Party

Bavarian Folk Dancer Party

Recently I have been inspired by Ukranian and Bavarian folk art (which is apparently also pretty trendy) for its beautiful ornate qualities and often quirky icons. I have found it to be a great genre to explore stylings of florals, birds and characters. Using the traditional folk art as inspiration, I then had the idea […]

Astra Zeneca

For this challenging project with Pause NYC I designed thirty characters, adults and children, and even a dog! It was a very fast paced job, taking place over a couple weeks. Although I have drawn many characters in one-off stylized poses for various illustrations, this was one of the only times I have had the opportunity […]

AOL Creators

This was a fun spot created for AOL Content Creators with the cool guys David Rasura and Luis Aguirre over at Nice Soft Shirt. Sharp directional lines and angular elements contrast with morphing colored circular shapes which reveal and conceal themed footage. Opening with a montage of the wheel through history, the spot is characterized […]

Holiday Joy

Happy Holidays! I love designing little characters so to celebrate the holidays this year I created this little ice skater playing in a candy fairyland. Lollypop trees, gumdrop bushes, and a gingerbread house kept with the theme and were really fun to create. I am working on a set of these for next holiday season.

Tribal Markings at Wanderlust 108 Brooklyn

I love designing and creating art with all sorts of media, but this weekend was the first time I actually painted on other people! The Wanderlust festival in Brooklyn gave me this opportunity as I met up with the inspiring artist Amir Magal and joined his joyous team of tribal markers for the day. We […]

Park Slope Map

Although last year I moved into Manhattan, I lived in the beautiful neighborhood of  Park Slope Brooklyn for well over a decade and it is very much a part of me. After I moved from the Slope, I created this map as a fun reminder of many of the wonderful landmarks and destinations I had […]

Springtime

Art, being upside down and flowers, three of my absolutely favorite things! This month has been a time of inspiration. Our beautiful weather here in NYC is really kicking in and bright colors starting to sprout everywhere. With the warmer weather and being able to be outside more I have started stepping up my handstand […]
